LAMISIL (terbinafine hydrochloride) is a prescription antifungal medication indicated for the treatment of onychomycosis of the fingernails and toenails due to dermatophytes (tinea unguium). Onychomycosis is a fungal infection that is difficult to treat as the fungus infects the area underneath the nail.

Diagnosis of the infection is confirmed by testing nail specimens in a laboratory.

Interactions:
