COREG (carvedilol) is a prescription drug used for the treatment of mild to severe chronic heart failure, adjunct to other medications. It is also indicated to help reduce risk of death in patients who have survived heart failure. COREG also reduces risk in patients with left ventricular dysfunction, and controls hypertension.
COREG is not approved for use in children less than 18 years of age.
