ACIPHEX (rabeprazole sodium) is a prescription drug that inhibits gastric acid secretion in your stomach. It aids in the treatment and relief of patients with erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD or frequent heartburn) and duodenal ulcers.
ACIPHEX is also administered in patients for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infections, and the long-term treatment of pathological hypersecretory conditions, including Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
